Music And Gender I grew up listening to a lot of different types of music as a kid, but the main genre that I listened to almost everyday was country music, Either on the way to school in my moms car and hearing it on the radio, To being in the kitchen watching my grandma blast Blake Shelton as she cooked on Sunday mornings. But there was one common theme between all the country music that I listened to, with male artist in country music they always talked about the same thing either drinking, hunting or they talked about how country they really are.
